In 2009 I photographed these girls selling pears at a roadside stand in the booming village of Al’shany in Polesia’s Central Prypjats’ area. I went back in August 2010 with photos for them and found the girls cheerfully manning their stand. Al’shany 2010/Альшаны 2010 год
