Belarus remains one of the world’s major producers of rye, although its annual tonnage, like that of all the other leading producers, has declined sharply since the early 1990s. Rye is the main ingredient of those incomparable dark Belarusian breads: Narachanski, Radzivilauski, Jubiljarny.
