Town Hall (Ratusha), Mahiljou 2015. This 17th-century structure was damaged in World War II; Soviet authorities knocked down the unrepaired tower in 1957. The meticulous restoration was completed in 1998.

Aljaksjej Batsjukou, director of the Museum of the History of Mahiljou. Mr. Batsjukou and two colleagues, along with financial support from private donors, were the driving force behind the acquisition for the museum of a rare complete text of the 1588 Statute of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. This is the only copy of the Statute in Belarus.
