Evening light in May, Lakhouka 2013.  Адметнае беларускае вечарнае асьвятленьне, травень 2013 года. From the beginning of May until late August the evening light in Belarus lingers intimately, ineffably.

The construction of a dyke in 2012 has blocked the open flow of water seen in this 2009 photo of a Pripet (Prypjats’) River side channel which flowed along the edge of the village of Vjeras’nitsa.
