Thousands of pilgrims travel by foot for up to nine days from all corners of Belarus to the Bernardine church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Budslau, 110 kilometers north of Mjensk. The pilgrims arrive in the afternoon of July 1, take part in an arrival mass that evening, in worship throughout the night, and in the great celebratory mass the morning of July 2.
