Keeping watch, Jatsuki 2010/Сталы пост, Яцукі 2010
As with so many other villages in the Vitebsk Region of Northern Belarus, Jatsuki has lost much of its population to urban migration. However, favored by its position on a bluff over the Dzvina River, Jatsuki is seeing more and more city families buying old houses or building new cottages as summer retreats.
Вёска Яцукі апусьцела: людзі паехалі жыць ў гарады. Такі лёс напаткаў мноства вёсак Віцебшчыны. Але ў Яцукі, на высокі бераг Дзьвіны, прыяжджае ўсё больш і больш гарадзкіх сем’яў, што купляюць вясковыя хаты ці будуюць новыя дамы для летняга адпачынку.
