Monument to Tadeusz Kosciuszko, Marachoushchyna 2012.  Помнік Тадэвушу Касьцюшку, Марачоўшчына 2012 год.

The Kosciuszko family seat and birthplace of Tadeusz Kosciuszko was rebuilt from long-neglected ruins with the support of a regional official and through the financial assistance of the U.S. Embassy in Mjensk.  The plaque reads:

February 4, 1746-October 15, 1817

Here on the estate at Marachoushchyna was the birthplace of Andrej Tadeusz Bonaventura Kosciuszko, a great son of Belarusian soil, who thereafter became a national hero of Poland and the U.S.A. and an honorary citizen of France.
