This photo is from a day-long survey in January of the patrimony of northern Baranavichy District with Anton Astapovich, chairman of the Belarusian Association for the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Monuments (БДТАПГК). The Orthodox church in Mouchadz’ was built during the conjoint harsh re-imposition of Russian imperial rule and imposition of Orthodoxy by the Russian patriarchate after the extinguishing of the Polish-Belarusian-Lithuanian uprising of 1863-64.
