After a memorial service (panikhida) on Holy Saturday, Orthodox church of the Resurrection, Al’homjel’ 2014. Twenty years ago the parish in Al’homjel’ built a newer, larger church next door and the church of the Resurrection (1817) is now open only at Eastertide. Thus it was a rare opportunity to see the church’s interior and a moving experience to have the rays of sunlight fall just so.
