Churches of Belarus (part CCCXXIV): Roman Catholic church of the Holy Trinity (consecrated in 1995 as the church of Jazafat Kuntsevich, an Eastern Rite (Greek Catholic) bishop and reformer whose murder the Moscow Patriarchate engineered in 1623). The current church replaces a wooden church of the Holy Trinity which the Soviet authorities razed in 1962; the bell tower retains only a part of the 19th-century original.
As I was on a tight schedule and had already attended the Pentecost celebrations and Mass in Papshychy earlier that morning, I did not stop to worship in this church’s Mass, which appeared to be well attended.
Касьцёлы Беларусі (частка CCCXXIV): касьцёл Сьвятой Тройцы (асьвячоны ў 1995 г. пад тытулам Сьвятога Язафата Кунцэвіча). Новы касьцёл замяняе драўляны касьцёл 1810 г., які савецкія ўлады разбурылі ў 1962 г. Арыгінальная званіца часткова захоўваецца.
