Preparing for Trinity (June 3, 2012).  Падрыхтоўка да Тройцы.

In a tradition with deep pre-Christian roots, Belarusans mark Trinity by spreading marsh reeds in the entryway and throughout their home as well as in front of their parish church and in the nave.  In pre-Christian times this tradition celebrated the greening of spring.  Now the tradition recalls that Christ’s first disciples were fishermen.
