Radaunitsa, which falls on the ninth day after Orthodox Easter, is the main (among many) annual rite of commemoration of forebears in the Belarusian Orthodox liturgical calendar. After conducting a memorial service in church, the priest, here Father Vital’ of the parish of the Resurrection, moves through the cemetery to bless individual graves.
