This village was another example of a njerush (unexpected, wondrous discovery): thatched roof after thatched roof, storks galore, orderly yards, and hard-working villagers. Despite his age and fingers on his right hand which he can no longer move, widower Kanstantsin Losich was hard at work when I asked him to pause for a portrait.
