Juravichy is renowned for its 18th-century Jesuit collegium and church (confiscated from the Roman Catholic church and given to the Moscow Patriarchate of the Orthodox church by the occupying Russian imperial authorities after the 1863 Uprising) and one of the two oldest-known paleolithic sites in Belarus. At the same time the town has a worthy patrimony of Polesian vernacular wooden architecture.

Traditional wooden house with local variant of decorative wooden window frames (lishtvy) and, unusually, only one window facing the street. It is unusual to find this latter feature outside the area inhabited by the Sakuny, some 110-120 miles (180-200 kilometers) northwest of Juravichy — see photos of the day for November 30-December 4, 2016.
