Monument to locals “who perished in 1941-45”. Ostensibly a memorial to those who lost their lives fighting the Germans, the memorial includes the names of two men (NKVD?) who died “in the struggle against banditism”, i.e., they were killed by anti-Soviet resistance fighters seven months after the end of World War II. This is a rare example of a Soviet- or post-Soviet monument in Belarus which refers to the post-war anti-Soviet resistance.
