Late summer flowers, Dan’ki 2011. Жнівеньскія кветкі, Данькі 2011 год.
In defiance of a short growing season, determined Belarusian gardeners produce a riot of late summer colors. As a result Belarusian villages embrace the traveler even more joyfully from mid-August to late September. The flowers here are cultivated by retired photographer Rehina Jermaljonak, who creates a paradise each year despite having lost an arm. Deepest thanks to my photographer friend Aljena Shalima for the introduction.
Beautiful dahlia, beautiful Rehina. How we miss dahlias here in Texas, USA.
Many thanks for your inspiration.
Вeautiful Rehina! Mr. John, thank you for this wonderful photo
Вялікі дзякуй Вам, спадарыня Алена.
