All is peaceful before the ceremony starts.
Father Vital’ blows three times on Dar’ja to disperse any lingering presence of the Devil…
…pours water on Dar’ja’s head while she is immersed in the tub…
…blesses the cross which she will wear…
…and gives a final blessing.
Dar’ja falls peacefully asleep after the Christening.
