St. Nicholas is highly venerated in Eastern Orthodoxy and churches in Belarus celebrate two feast days (Mikola — Мікола) in his honor:  spring Mikola on May 22 to mark the translation of his relics from Lycia in Asia Minor to Bari in 1087 and winter Mikola on December 19 to celebrate his working of wonders.
