Cutting reeds for Trinity, Tsjerablichy 2016. In Belarus it is an Orthodox Christian tradition, with deep pre-Christian roots, to scatter reeds in church, in the yard and in the home on the eve of Trinity Sunday. Reeds are used as a reminder that Christ’s first disciples were fishermen.
