Drahabyl’lje is one of so many once-thriving Belarusian villages which, although now depopulated, retain a rich patrimony of vernacular architecture and homesteading traditions. Wooden fences, each one reflecting the hard work and individuality of its builder, are an essential element of this patrimony.
